Consultant program

Get paid for your ZenWorkflow expertise

Firms moving to ZenWorkflow need someone to map their services to workflows, bring their data across and train the team. Become a certified consultant, get listed in our directory, and we'll refer implementation work to you.

The work

What certified consultants do

Four kinds of engagement, each of which a firm will happily pay for.

Workflow and template design

Turn a firm's recurring services into templates with the right checklist, roles, budgets and deadlines — the difference between adoption and abandonment.

Migration and client setup

Clean and import clients, entities, directors, shareholders and historical data from spreadsheets or a previous system.

Compliance set-up

Configure risk schemes, KYC questionnaires and document requirements to match the firm's AML policy and its regulator.

Billing and team set-up

Services, fees, billing rates, approval chains and leave allowances — and the training to make the team use them.

A practice you can build on

Certification is free. What you do with it is yours.

Implementation referrals

When a firm needs more hands-on help than our services team provides, or wants someone local, we refer them to certified consultants in their region.

A certification firms recognise

A listing in our consultant directory and a badge for your website and proposals.

A free consultant tenant

Your own ZenWorkflow organisation for building templates, testing configurations and running training — for as long as you're certified.

Your rates, your engagements

You scope, deliver and bill your work directly. We don't take a cut of your fees.

Early access and a direct line

New features before they ship, a consultant channel into our product team and a monthly call with release notes that matter to implementers.

Co-marketing

A case study once you've taken a firm live, and a slot in our webinars to show your work.

Consultant editing an annual return template, then cloning it for a client (illustration)

The firm's services, built as workflows

The template editor is where most of a consultant's value lands. You turn "we do the annual return" into a template with checklist items of the right type — a Yes/No for the review, a date for the filing, a file upload for the receipt — plus the fixed fee, the budget hours and the deadline rule. From then on every one of the firm's clients runs the same way, and the team stops reinventing the job each year.

AML set-up a compliance officer will sign off

Every firm's AML policy is slightly different. You configure the risk scheme, the client questionnaire and the KYC document requirements to match it, then walk the firm through a real assessment: questions answered, completion at 100%, a risk rating and a Proceed decision they can show their regulator. The compliance report then tells them exactly which clients are missing what.

Make time and money flow without re-keying

Billing rates, services and approval chains decide whether a firm actually invoices from ZenWorkflow or keeps a side spreadsheet. You set up the team with their roles, permissions and hourly rates, the services with their fixed fees and renewal dates, and the weekly timesheet approvals — then train the team to log time and bill straight from the workflow.

Certification

Your path to certification

Most candidates certify within a month of applying, alongside their existing work.

3

Consultant program FAQ

Common questions from practice managers and implementers.

Accountants, practice managers, implementation specialists and anyone with hands-on experience running or improving a professional services firm. Firm experience matters more than software experience.

No. The training covers the product end to end. What we can't teach is how a firm works — that's what you bring.

You scope and bill your engagements directly with the firm, at your rates. ZenWorkflow doesn't take a share of your fees.

No. Training, certification and the consultant tenant are free.

When a firm asks for implementation help we can't provide ourselves — usually for language, location or capacity reasons — we introduce certified consultants in their region. The firm chooses who to work with.

Yes. Consultants can join the referral program too and earn a credit for every firm they introduce.
