Choose ZenWorkflow if you want

  • Time tracking and invoicing included rather than a paid add-on
  • Actual PEP and sanctions screening, not just an AML process
  • Staff leave and capacity planning
  • A firm outside the UK or running several entities

Glide is the better fit if

  • You want to configure every process in detail, including onboarding and AML steps
  • Automated email and SMS by key date is central to your client communication
  • UK statutory deadlines calculated automatically matter most
  • A larger firm that values a tweakable engine over an opinionated one

ZenWorkflow pricing

From €39/user/month (Practice) or €58/user/month with AML/KYC, billed monthly or yearly.

Everything is included at each tier: workflows, clients, time, billing, leave, reporting and the AI assistant, with AML/KYC on the Practice + AML plan. There are no per-module fees and no minimum number of users, and the free plan covers one user and ten clients.

Glide pricing

Basic from £41.23, Advanced £63.22 and Professional £82.46 a month for the first user, rising per user.

The Time & Fees module is a paid add-on on every tier, from £6.51 a month for the first user. Yearly payment saves 5% and firms over 100 staff get custom pricing. Workflow, automation and deadline tracking are the core; AML is handled as a configurable process rather than built-in screening, and staff leave is not included.

Why firms move from Glide

Glide wins praise for flexibility and support. The moves come from the add-ons and the setup effort.

Time and fees cost extra

Billing and time are a module on every tier. ZenWorkflow includes them.

A process, not a check

Glide models AML as workflow steps. ZenWorkflow runs the PEP and sanctions screening and risk assessment itself.

Configuration is the job

Flexibility means setup. ZenWorkflow ships templates, client records and billing ready to use.

No leave or capacity

Who is available is a separate question. ZenWorkflow answers it from the calendar.

Opinionated where it saves you time

Start from ready-made templates for common services, adapt them, and let the AI draft new ones from a prompt. Owners, budgets and approvals are built into the template rather than configured per process.

Screening, not just steps

Run PEP and sanctions checks on clients, directors and owners, record the structured risk assessment and track document expiry, with the history kept on the client.

Time and fees, included

Weekly timesheets with approvals, budgets against actuals, and invoices built from the job, with estimates, credit notes and receipts on every plan.
