Clients are the central record in the platform — workflows, invoices, time, and KYC all hang off a client. Adding one takes under a minute.

  1. Click Clients in the sidebar.
  2. Click Add Client.
  3. Choose the type: Individual (a person) or Entity (a company, partnership, trust, etc.). The choice determines which custom fields and KYC sections apply.
  4. Fill in the core details:
  • Name (required)
  • Email and Phone (optional — you can add multiple of each, marking one as primary)
  • For Individuals: Date of birth, Gender (if your firm captures these)
  • For Entities: Incorporation date, Business activity (configurable in Settings)
  1. Add addresses. Most firms record a registered address and, for entities, a separate operating address.
  2. Fill in any custom fields your firm has configured for this client type — for example tax reference, regulatory IDs, or KYC risk rating.
  3. Click Save.

You land on the new client's Information tab where you can immediately move to assigning services, adding contacts, or starting a KYC assessment.

Tip: Need to onboard many clients at once? Use Import from the three-dot menu on the clients list. Download the Excel template, fill it in, and upload — clients are created in bulk with their custom fields populated.

Note: Custom fields differ between Individuals and Entities. To control which fields appear on each type, open the gear icon > Client Fields.
