Public holidays are dates the platform treats as non-working when calculating leave durations, deadlines, and team availability. You can import a country's standard public holidays in one click and customise them as needed.

  1. Open Settings > Holidays and Work Week.
  2. In the Public Holidays section, click Add Country.
  3. Select a country — the platform fetches that country's official public holidays for the chosen year.
  4. Choose the year.
  5. Review the imported holidays. Edit dates or add company-specific days off (e.g. a regional holiday or your firm's anniversary).
  6. Click Save.

If your firm operates in multiple countries, repeat the process for each one — you'll create separate public holiday calendars.

Assign holidays to members

  1. In the Public Holidays section, click Assign Members next to a calendar.
  2. Tick the team members whose work calendar should include those holidays.
  3. Save.

Only assigned members have the calendar's holidays reflected in their leave durations, team calendar, and reports.

Tip: Most firms keep one calendar per country/region and assign each team member to the calendar of their primary office. The setting can be changed individually from Settings > Users at any time.
