Services are the core offerings your firm provides — audits, tax returns, KYC reviews, advisory hours, secretarial work. They power workflow creation, billing defaults, the Service Obligations report, and many financial reports.

  1. Open Settings > Services.
  2. The list shows your services grouped by budget type. Use the search and filter to find a specific one.
  3. To add a service, click Add Service.
  4. Fill in:
  • Name — e.g. "Annual Audit", "Monthly Bookkeeping", "VAT Return".
  • Description — optional, shown when picking the service.
  • Budget type:
  • Fixed Fee — agreed flat amount.
  • Hourly Rate — billed by time logged.
  • Client-Specific Fee — a per-client rate, set when assigning the service to a client.
  • Non-Billable — internal work not billed to a client.
  • Default fee and currency (for Fixed Fee) or estimated hours (for Hourly Rate).
  • Period — Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly, Custom — how often this service is delivered.
  • Related Services — services that should automatically follow this one (used by Bulk Related Services).
  1. Click Save.

Services are used in:

  • Workflow creation — sets the default budget type and fee.
  • Client services — assign services to clients with per-client rates.
  • Invoicing — service line items pre-fill descriptions and rates.
  • Reports — Service Performance, Service Obligations, Revenue by Service, and more.

Tip: Keep service names short and unambiguous — they appear in dropdowns throughout the platform, so verbose names hurt the user experience. Use the description for the detail.
