A profile photo helps colleagues recognise your activity in comments, time entries, mentions, and team views. Without one, the platform falls back to a circle with your initials.

  1. Click your avatar (or initials circle) in the top right and choose Profile.
  2. Click the avatar area at the top of the profile page.
  3. Choose an image file from your device. Accepted formats are JPG and PNG, up to 5 MB.
  4. The crop tool opens. Drag the image and use the zoom buttons (+ / −) to frame your face.
  5. Click Crop & Continue.
  6. The cropped image uploads and replaces your avatar immediately. There is no separate save step.

Your new avatar appears everywhere your name does — comments, mentions, time entries, team calendars, the user dropdown, and assignment selectors.

Remove your photo

To revert to the initials circle, click the avatar area and choose Remove photo.

Tip: Use a square image with your face centred — the crop tool produces a circle, so anything in the corners is hidden. A simple background works better than a busy one at small sizes.

Note: If your firm uses Google sign-in, the photo from your Google account is used by default. Uploading a custom photo overrides it; removing the photo falls back to Google's image until you upload again.
