Cloning duplicates an existing workflow — useful when you want to re-run last quarter's work for the same client or copy a polished workflow to a different client.

There are two ways to clone:

Clone a single workflow

  1. Open the workflow you want to copy.
  2. Open the action menu (three-dot icon) and choose Clone.
  3. Adjust the new workflow's name, dates, client, service, owners, and assignees as needed.
  4. Click Clone to create the copy.

All items, groups, and field structure are duplicated. Time entries, comments, and historical data are not copied — the clone starts fresh.

Clone to multiple clients (bulk)

  1. Click Workflows in the sidebar.
  2. Click the three-dot menu in the top right and choose Bulk Create.
  3. Pick the workflow (or template) to clone from.
  4. Select the clients you want to create copies for.
  5. Adjust the shared dates and assignees.
  6. Click Create — one workflow is generated per selected client.

Tip: If the goal is to roll a periodic workflow forward (e.g. monthly bookkeeping), it is often easier to base it on a template and use Bulk Create every period rather than cloning the previous instance manually.
