Choose ZenWorkflow if you want

  • A platform that is not mid-migration into a larger suite
  • Native invoicing, estimates and credit notes
  • AML/KYC screening and risk assessment included
  • Staff leave, capacity and multi-entity support

Senta is the better fit if

  • The lowest per-user price is the deciding factor
  • You plan to adopt IRIS Elements for tax and accounts anyway
  • A UK practice that wants Companies House and a client portal cheaply
  • E-signatures from the same tool

ZenWorkflow pricing

From €39/user/month (Practice) or €58/user/month with AML/KYC, billed monthly or yearly.

Everything is included at each tier: workflows, clients, time, billing, leave, reporting and the AI assistant, with AML/KYC on the Practice + AML plan. There are no per-module fees and no minimum number of users, and the free plan covers one user and ten clients.

Senta pricing

From about $24 per user per month billed yearly, or $30 monthly.

Workflows, CRM, a client portal and e-signatures are included at that price, which is why Senta has been popular with small UK practices. IRIS has announced that Senta customers are being moved onto IRIS Elements in stages, so check the migration timeline for your segment before committing. AML/KYC screening, native invoicing and staff leave are not part of Senta.

Why firms move from Senta

Price kept firms on Senta. The migration to IRIS Elements is what prompts the review.

A platform in transition

IRIS is moving Senta into Elements in stages. ZenWorkflow is independently developed with a public roadmap of its own.

No native invoicing

Billing happens in your ledger. ZenWorkflow bills from the job with estimates and credit notes.

No AML/KYC

Screening and risk assessments need another tool. ZenWorkflow includes them.

No team planning

Leave and capacity are out of scope. ZenWorkflow plans around who is in.

From work to paid invoice
